Most people don't know it, but they can significantly improve their showering experience by making a few small changes. It may seem like a small thing to think about, but showering is something that you do each and every day. It's odd that more people don't pay more attention to making showering more convenient and enjoyable.

First, you might try looking into higher-end shower heads and fittings. Buying a pressure regulated shower head will prevent flushing toilets and running water in other areas of your house from changing the temperature of your shower. You know how frustrating and annoying this can be, and for a small initial investment you can prevent it from ever happening again.

A shower head with an adjustable nozzle can significantly change the water flow so that you can give yourself a different kind of shower depending on how dirty you are or simply whatever mood you're in. Additionally, these kinds of shower heads are wonderful for a family whose members prefer differing amounts of pressure and concentrations of water.

There are shower heads that also serve as a detachable "hose style" shower head. These detachable heads are great for washing areas that normally get neglected while showering. Many people find that they can't transition back to a standard fixed shower head after using one of these.

Upgrading your shower knobs can go a long way toward making showering a more enjoyable experience. Modern shower knobs can control the temperature of the water in very fine increments. It can be incredibly frustrating to get the water to the perfect temperature without a high quality shower knob.

Besides the actual water fittings in your shower there ae some extra little bits and pieces that you might want to add to your bathroom for convenience. In our household we can't liev without a shower caddy or shower basket in both bathrooms. These handy shelves usually slip over the shower head, and have a couple of shelves that you can put your shower products into. This means you keep your shower tidy and you don't have to keep bending over to pick stuff up!

Look out for the cheaper chrome plated ones though, as they may rust over time and leave stains on your tiles.

A lot of home owners opt to fit their showers with a "bath seat." A bath seat is great for people who would prefer to bathe while seated, but don't have the time for a proper bath. Additionally, most bath seats are also foldable, so they won't take up an inordinate amount of room in your shower.

None of these upgrades cost a great deal of money, but they all make showering something that you'll look forward to every day.
